BIOGRAPHY:
Tyler Bearde has been garnering attention from critics and audiences alike for his outrageous stand-up comedy performances across the country.
Recently Tyler starred in BET's "Comic View" as a member of the Comic View Players sketch comedy group. Tyler also recently completed a film called "A Few Good Drinks" as well as a pilot for ABC called "Formerly Famous."
However, Tyler is probably best known for his portrayal of sneaky documentary fimmaker E.W. Ziffren on Showtime's smash comedy hit "Sherman Oaks" ('95-'97).
A native of Southern California, Tyler became interested in acting at an early age, using his creative energy to act on the stage since he was five years old. The son of well known variety and comic writer/ producer Chris Bearde, Tyler spent most of his childhood on and around the sets of such shows as "The Laugh In," "The Sonny and Cher Comedy Hour," "That's My Mamma," "The Gong Show," as well as a slew of other variety hit specials that aired throughout the seventies. It was there that he fell in love with the entertainment industry and knew that this was to be his quest in life.
Although a late bloomer in the acting field, Tyler has quickly garnered notoriety in Hollywood. He has been successful in landing guest starring and regular roles for the ABC, NBC and FOX Networks.
Tyler graduated from Loyola Marymount University in 1990 with a degree in Television/Film Production as well as Theater Arts.
